Our mission is to extend the lifespan of already existing garments and materials. It is stated that there is already enough clothing on the planet to supply at least six future generations. To reduce environmental impact, we need less new production and greater use of what already exists.
Nio Liv gives second hand sweatshirts a new life through original, creative prints in collaboration with illustrators, artists, and photographers.
Posters
The prints are created as “textile posters” on GOTS-certified organic cotton fabric. This approach makes it possible to cover a stubborn stain or an outdated print and save a garment from ending up in landfill prematurely.
Who are we?
The people behind Nio Liv are Hanna and Ulrika. Hanna is a seamstress and creator with long experience in upcycling and remake. Ulrika is a graphic designer/frontend developer with a passion for circular economy.
We’re both driven by a shared wish to make a positive difference for the environment. Instead of worrying passively, we choose to take action toward a more circular and sustainable future — in a creative and joyful way. Welcome to join us!
