We are working on establishing channels for sourcing larger quantities of second hand sweatshirts. Our initial stock has been sourced within the Nordics, and we are currently exploring several options in Europe.
Because they are pre-owned, they’re not perfect — but we are quite picky. We do not accept: pilling, stains, holes, bad odours, or stretched-out cuffs.
Choose your normal size and preferred style (e.g. loose fit/regular fit) and check the measurements. Because the sweatshirts vary in size and style, measurements can vary quite a lot between two shirts in the same size.

Pricing is a jungle! There is a lot of really cheap clothing made from virgin materials out there, which is really bad for the planet. In light of the climate crisis, we need to place greater value on continuing to use the clothes that already exist.
When you purchase a Nio Liv sweatshirt you don’t just buy a sweatshirt, you support the change to a circular economy. You also support artists’ creative work, as they receive a fair commission for each print sold.
All our sweatshirts for adults are marked Men/Women and a size that follows the general gender sizes. On top of that we have tagged a lot of the sweatshirts with ‘Unisex’ if the style is basic. But that means a Unisex sweatshirt that is marked ‘Women S’ is going to be smaller than a Unisex sweatshirt marked ‘Men S’. So be sure to check the unique measurements.
The back length, and arm length is longer on men's wear. Men’s sweatshirts are also often narrower at the hips (if you are a curvy woman looking at Unisex sweatshirts marked Men, check the shape of the sweatshirt on the pictures).
